Edward (Eddie) Phayer

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Phayer, Gardenhill, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick and formerly of 10 Nicholas Street, Limerick, late of Spaights – James McMahon Builder Providers and also Curraghgower Boat Club who died peacefully but unexpectedly in University Hospital Limerick on Tuesday, 18th February 2025.

Predeceased by his late wife Joan (Moloney), brother Gerard O.F.M and sisters.

Sadly missed by his son John, brother’s Jack, Thomas, Eugene and sister Lillian, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, many kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing: this Thursday evening 20th February at Delany-Minihan Funeral Home, Cork Road, Newport from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with removal: afterwards to St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnell.

Requiem Mass: on Friday 21st February at 11.30 am with burial: afterwards in Stradbally Cemetery, Castleconnell.

Patricia McDermott (nee Keane)

Castleconnell, and formerly of Adare and Janesboro, Limerick who died peacefully on 17th January 2025 in the presence of her loving family in the excellent care of Roseville House Nursing Home, Killonan. Sadly missed by her loving son Anthony (Tony), daughter Suzanne, daughter in law Betty, grandson Eoin, brother John, sister Madeleine, extended family, relatives and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing: at Meehan’s Funeral Home Castleconnell on Sunday 19th January from 5 to 7 p.m.

Arrival: to St. Joseph’s Church Castleconnell on Monday 20th for Requiem Mass: at 11.30 a.m., which can be viewed on www.castleconnellparish.ie

Burial: afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castleconnell.

Castlecourt, Castle Street, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick formerly of Dell and Shannon Airport, who died on 12th January 2025. Predeceased by his brother – Slawomir.

Sadly missed by his loving sister and children Agnieszka, Artur, Adam, Adrianna and Zuzanna, extended family and friends.

Cremation: will take place on Saturday 18th January 2025 in Shannon Crematorium at 3 p.m.

Mary Kyne (nee Cleary), peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a short illness, in the care of University Hospital, Limerick.
Predeceased by her beloved husband PJ, her parents Michael and Margaret and her brothers Michael, Fr. Brendan and Gerald.

Mary will be sadly missed by her loving children Fr. Brendan, Pat, Maria (O’Shaughnessy), Louise (Capra) and Honor (Haugh), her sister Sr. Mona, her adoring grandchildren Sarah, Aileen, Patrick, Kevin, Grace, Mary, Paul, Anna, Nina, Hazel and Liliana, daughter in law Mary, sons in law John, Michael and Colm, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
