Dereen, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick, formerly of Ballymackeogh, Newport, Co. Tipperary and Conigar, Askeaton, Co. Limerick who died on 29th December 2022 (peacefully) in the care of the Doctors and staff of Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his Father Martin and Mother Bridgid (nee Kelly), Stepmother Mary May Carey (nee Cuthbert) and brother Seamus. Survived by his loving wife Maureen, sons Gavin and Tom, grandchildren Ethan, Finn, Colman, and Seamus, daughters in law Trudy and Rosemary, Sisters Ester (O’Connell) and Joan (Dowling) and brother Michael. nieces and nephews, brothers in law, sister in law, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing: at Meehan’s Funeral Home Newport on Tuesday 3rd January from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Arriving: at St Joseph’s Church, Castleconnell on Wednesday 4th for Requiem Mass at 11.30am which can be viewed on www.castleconnellparish.ie followed by burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery Castleconnell. House Private please. Family Flowers only please, Donations in lieu to Milford Care Centre.
