Castleconnell Drama Group was established in 2009.To date it has staged “Big Maggie” and “Moll” by John B Keane, “On the Outside” by Tom Murphy and “Only You” by John A Geraghty. The group has also taken part in the local St Patrick’s Day parade.

In February 2012 the group staged “Don’t Tell The Wife” by Sam Cree in the Parish Hall. It was a roaring success, attended by huge audiences over the three nights. The group will reconvene in the autumn with readings of some One Act plays. Auditions for our next production in spring 2013 will take place early November and are open to every member of the community.
